Training Programs
Join us year-round for our comprehensive schedule, featuring tailored programs to suit all seasons. From our Spring Program running from late January to early June, including a mid-spring session from April to mid-June for those seeking warmer climates, to our Fall Program from late June to late October, with a mid-fall option from late August to October, along with winter sessions starting from mid-November to mid-Jan. Enhance your performance with our Tuesday speed sessions and stay in top form with our Thursday Mobility & Strength Classes aimed at optimizing your running abilities, and achieve your goals. All abilities are welcome with pace groups that range from 7 to 15 minutes a mile along with walkers, with mileage options of 1 to 22 miles, and for schedules for 5K’s to ultramarathons. Enjoy our complimentary four mile fun runs from the lightwell KC building in downtown KCMO on select Wednesday evenings!

Outside of our great training programs, Runner’s Edge of Kansas City has supplied hundreds of fitness events with a solid Pace Team.
SmartPacers are an all star team of seasoned runners, specially trained to help you meet your goal. Line up with one of our free teams at the start and we will do our best to guide you to the finish on time, with a proven SmartPace strategy, good clock management, inspiration, coaching and a lot of fun. Their love of running and positive personalities will help to make the most of your half or full marathon.
